How can I make a clay dragon and gargoyle?
I have a round ceramic and clay mine. A friend of mine has requested a dragon and a gargoyle for me to do. I'm not quite sure how? Should I make room by throwing some of the peices in the wheel? Or Solid? Some tips and ideas?
Try the following link to the gargoyle – who use polymer clay, but the beginning of what would be the same for most of the clay – is dead simple. The second link shows the steps of a little dragon – newly designed polymer clay, but the steps for the actual creation would be the same. Polymer Clay is cured in stages, but just skip the stages of cooking if it will fire the clay in the final. Good Luck!
