How to make an appealing book to a large audience?

I am currently thinking of writing a book. I really want my book to appeal to a younger adult audience as well as to the more mature adult readers. Maybe even an audience a little younger AND older than both of those.
Example could be Harry Potter series. I know a large age difference of people who read it.

Based on what you’ve written, I take that you want to write a fantasy story.

What you could do to get your mind running with ideas is read a few fantasy books. You could also try rereading the Harry Potter series.

You should also take writing classes and read books about writing. This type of stuff is really helpful for people who want to be writers because you need as much knowledge as you can about writing to have an excellent book.

A really good writing book that I enjoyed was “Seize the Story” by Victoria Hanley. It covers everything you need to know about writing, and it includes exercises to get your mind going. This book is available at your local library.

Keep in mind that you should be writing something that appeals to you first, not what appeals to others. Everyone likes different things, so if you’re worrying about making everyone other than yourself happy with a book, then it won’t be very appealing. Also, if you’re only writing a book to get noticed, then that’s not being a real writer. Getting noticed is not what writing is about. But if that’s not the case, then by all means, enjoy yourself and write something that appeals to you. Get your mind to think out of the box and write something that doesn’t usually happen.
