what are the chances of navy nurses to be attached to a marine corp unit?
In the future I want to be a Navy Surgical Nurse through NROTC NURSE CORP OPTION and i want to be attached to a marine corp unit so what are the actually chances? Do i get to choose? do i get to choose if i can be a surgical nurse? is it rly hard to get into nrotc in the first place?
The Marine Corps has no medical corps of its own. Medical services are provided by Navy Corpsmen, Doctors and Nurses. Where there are Marines deployed, there will be Navy Medical Corps personnel. I know at least one Navy Nurse who is in Afghanistan with the Marines right now. What are your chances? What are the chances you will spend your career Bethesda? Nobody can answer that question off the top of their head.
